I’m not here to give you unsolicited advice on how you *should* get married. I’m here to support your vision, help take some of the stress away, and give you kick-ass photos to remember forever.
ELOPEMENTS
Elopements are for couples that want something a little smaller in size, but not in importance!
Your smaller guest list allows for more flexibility with locations & activities. Want to off-road to an alpine lake and crack open some cold ones? Want to hike 8 miles into the backcountry & have your dog sign your marriage license? Something in between? I’m down to clown, let’s get to planning.
WEDDINGS
Couples choose weddings when they know they want their friends and family in attendance to help them celebrate!
The chances that all of your favorite humans will be in the same place again are slim. So I’ll clock 8+ miles on my Apple Watch to make sure that all of the smiles, laughs, hugs, & tears are captured. & I’ll do it with a smile on my face.
SESSIONS
For those moments that deserve to be captured and those stories that deserve to be told!
Engagement, maternity, anniversary, just because of you & the pup(s). We can meet up somewhere beautiful and hang out for a couple of hours. These are low-threat & really fun. Cameras can be intimidating but I’ll guide ya every step of the way.

I’m Mikayla
— A Colorado-based elopement and wedding photographer who loves being in the mountains and crying during other people’s vows. My photography is based on your connection first, and the mountains second. I’m equally inspired by both and they make my job a dream. I’d love nothing more than hanging out somewhere pretty and creating beautiful, timeless photos together.
I’m often found in Colorado Springs, Denver, Breckenridge, Buena Vista, Crested Butte, and Telluride. I’m always down for an adventure so reach out no matter the distance!

I care–really. It sounds so cheesy, but I do, like a lot. I’m emotionally invested in all of my couples. In your planning, in your day, in your photos. I’m just a normal person who knows how to take beautiful photos and tell a story. For me, this never gets old. Yes, you’ll get an elopement photographer & a pretty resourceful lady (if I do say so myself), but you’ll also get a another friend at your wedding.
