A family-owned, veteran operated small business, this venue provides a beautiful, rustic space for your event for a fraction of the costof other wedding venues in Colorado. You’ll have 15 acres to yourselves to celebrate your wedding day!

How to get to 1C Barn Wedding Venue

1C Barn is a beautiful property on the north side of Colorado Springs. There is a decent parking lot on the property and parking along the street once that fills up.

Wedding rules for 1C Barn

• Maximum of 65 guests
• Weddings with more than 25 guests require an event insurance policy
• There is a $500 non-refundable and non-transferable fee required upon booking
• Pets allowed with prior approval
• Bartenders are required to serve alcohol during receptions

A little about my couple

Sydney and Michael were neighbors their whole childhood. But of course they didn’t start dating until he moved out of the state! He came home, they moved into a cute little house in downtown Colorado Springs, and the rest is history! 

Why they chose to get married at 1C Barn 

Originally, Sydney and Michael were planning to elope in the mountains with a handful of their favorite people. A couple of months later, they found 1C Barn and knew it would be the perfect place for their celebration and wanted to invite even more of their crew! Their day ended up having rustic and boho vibes with their rusty colors and dried floral decor. 

The day of their wedding, I showed up to the guys prepping in the basement while the ladies were upstairs getting ready for the ceremony. The weather was amazing and there was so much excitement! Syd’s mother helped her into her dress and then it was go time. One of Michael’s long time family friends officiated their ceremony and it was so heartfelt–there’s something so special about someone who knows and loves you leading the ceremony!

After their wedding ceremony, we took family photos, and couple portraits. After that, we went to the front of the barn for the first dance, Syd’s dance with her dad, and cocktail hour! There was a mobile bar out front and it made for such a fun, laid-back vibe! 

I was so sad to leave by the end of the night because it was so fun seeing Sydney and Michael be celebrated by the people who love them most! I ran home and edited a sneak peek of their wedding photos because I just couldn’t wait!
