Richards-Hart Estate
This Victorian mansion in the Wheat Ridge suburb is a dreamy venue perfect for modestly sized weddings. You’ll have the magic grounds of the Richards-Hart Estate to yourselves, with space both indoors and outdoors for a ceremony and celebration.

Deer Creek Mountain Camp
Less than an hour outside of Denver is Deer Creek Mountain Camp, which gives you the full-on mountain experience without a long journey from the city. When you rent this wedding venue, you get access to a reception lodge, outdoor ceremony area, cabins, and the dining hall. This mountain camp can accommodate 25-150 people, plus there are enough beds for up to 120 people to stay on-site—ideal for friends or family members coming from afar. Blackstone Rivers Ranch
This luxury riverfront venue is located just 35 minutes outside of Denver, with both indoor and outdoor spaces that immerse you in the area’s natural beauty and on-site lodging for up to 50 guests. Spruce Mountain
Spruce Mountain Ranch is located between Denver and Colorado Springs, offering couples two separate properties: Upper Ranch and Lower Ranch. With room for up to 500 people, this is an ideal location for large groups. You’ll get access to a ceremony site, reception venue, cocktail hour location, and parking lot. Plus, a free service is included to help you figure out accommodations for your guests (with transportation to the venue) since the ranch doesn’t have on-site lodging.

Wellshire Event Center
Just 10 minutes from downtown Denver is the Wellshire Event Center, located on a private golf course. You can rent the space for a wedding of up to 250 guests, and since the site only hosts one wedding at a time, you’re guaranteed the whole property to yourselves, with a choice of both indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception locations. Since the venue rental comes with experienced staff and a full package of amenities, it also makes wedding planning that much easier!

Urban wedding venues have a style all their own, which makes for really interesting and unique wedding photos! Here are some of my favorite downtown Denver wedding venues.
Blanc
Located in Denver’s funky RiNo Art District, Blanc is such a cool event space. It offers room for up to 150 guests, and the property features a gallery, open courtyard with a patio, and conference room. With exposed brick, private outdoor space, seating area under an arbor, and more, this venue gives off major industrial chic vibes sure to make for memorable photos.

Skylight
Another of Denver’s Arts Districts, the Sante Fe neighborhood, is home to Skylight, an urban wedding venue with a hipster atmosphere. It offers space for up to 200 people, and the freedom to bring the vendors of your choice to complete the perfect day (the outdoor patio, tables, and chairs are included with the rental). Plus, Skylight is pet-friendly, so feel free to incorporate your fur babies into the ceremony!

Moss
This 20th-century building in the Santa Fe Arts District of Denver is a quirky industrial wedding venue that’s full of surprises. Moss has room for up to 300 guests (200 seated), and offers multiple rooms to fit different tastes. Like the Chandelier Room where brick walls and long windows meet elegant lighting fixtures, or the Edison Room with moss-covered walls and gorgeous sunset views. No matter which room you choose, you’ll get stunning photos and enough space for your whole crew!

Denver Botanic Gardens
If you’ve never made it to the Denver Botanic Gardens, you’ll have to add it to your bucket list. There’s something so magical about the property’s grounds, where you’ll find all kinds of themed gardens ripe for exploration. The Denver Botanic Gardens also has a number of unique event spaces you can rent for your special day, like the Woodland Mosaic and Solarium, the West Terrace, the Amphitheater, and even among the gardens themselves.

Villa Parker
This stucco-roofed villa is the closest thing to Tuscany you’ll find this side of the Rockies! A Villa Parker wedding is all about elegance, offering mountain views on a property just south of Denver. Balistreri Vineyards
You may not think of Colorado as wine country, but that’s because you haven’t been to the Balistreri Vineyards yet! Rocky Mountain National Park

Sunrise Amphitheater
Sunrise Amphitheater is located in Boulder, on the summit of Flagstaff Mountain, a popular hiking destination in the area. You’ll get views out over the city down below, flanked by mountains and evergreens on the side—classic Colorado vistas! Since the cost is relatively low, this is a great option for couples on a budget.

North Star Gatherings
Located about a 40-minute drive from Denver, this outdoor wedding venue offers privacy and views of mountains beyond mountains… Just keep in mind that it’s at 9,000 feet of elevation, so if you or your guests are coming from sea level you’ll need time to acclimate! Because North Star Gatherings’ property runs completely on solar power, it’s a great option for eco-conscious couples. You’ll get access to an indoor hall, outdoor cocktail area, plus private spaces where you can get ready for the big day.
