Beautiful Black Mountain Lodge Wedding at Arapahoe Basin

E + T knew they wanted a Black Mountain Lodge wedding after living in Denver for a couple of years and spending their free time chasing mountain views. Originally from the Midwest, it felt important to them that their guests truly experienced what a Colorado mountain wedding feels like. They both got ready at a rental in Breckenridge before driving over to A-Basin as the weather rolled in along the way. The rain that moved over Loveland Pass didn’t take away from the meaning of the day, if anything it gave us beautifully diffused lighting (great for photography!). They exchanged personal, heartfelt vows overlooking White River National Forest, honored E’s dad who had recently passed, and celebrated with their family and friends!

A Black Mountain Lodge wedding made sense for E + T because it was scenic without feeling overdone and rooted in the mountains they love. Sitting above the tree line, the lodge gave them space to slow down and enjoy their friends, take in the amazing views, and truly enjoy their wedding day!
