While this venue is open year-round, June-September is the best months to get married in Colorado. During these months, the mountains are warm during the day and can get very cold at night. You better believe you’ll be getting a lot of use out of the outdoor propane heaters that are included in wedding packages!
During the wedding season, Fridays and Saturdays are most popular. Weekdays are a cool option if you are staying in the area for a while and want to explore a bit. You’ll have less traffic and cheaper lodging in the surrounding areas.
Blackstone Rivers Ranch is a wedding venue that hosts everything from elopements and tiny weddings to large 200-person celebrations. This is great news for couples who are looking to have a more intimate gathering without having to pay for a full wedding package. Included in this package are event coordination, an officiant, a luxury meal, a small wedding cake, and a night’s sleep in the Claim Jumper Cabin on the property. Elopements here start at $1,800 while tiny weddings start at $4,100—pricing depends on the time of year and day of the week for both types of events.
For larger weddings, packages range from $6,000 to-13,500. This package included exclusive access to the venue, ceremony benches for up to 200 guests, a slot for a wedding rehearsal the morning prior, gorgeous dressing suites, a reception tent with lighting, tables, chairs, and outdoor heaters, and a cocktail lounge and fire pit for guests.
Conveniently, there are a ton of beautiful spots at Blackstone Rivers Ranch for photos. If you wanted to explore for photos, you’ll only be 16 minutes from Echo Lake, 38 minutes from Summit Lake at the base of Mount Evans, and a short drive from other beautiful locations. Mount Evans Wilderness and James Peak Wilderness are beautiful areas nearby.
