How is Blackstone Rivers Ranch different than nearby venues?

Idaho Springs is where the Colorado Gold rush originated and Blackstone Rivers Ranch got its name from the fact that the venue sits on The Blackstone Lode. Along with the views, amazing staff, and relaxing experience, you’re choosing a venue that has years of history behind it.

Blackstone Rivers Ranch is among a handful of wedding venues that have rivers running through it. The ceremony location is framed by beautiful, mature trees while being directly in front of running water. This site is an amazing choice if you’re looking for a venue with a ton of variety to show off to your out-of-state friends and family!

There are lodging options for 30-50 of your guests on the property. This is a fun option for those who want to keep partying well into the night and would prefer to stay in the mountains.

What are the best months to get married at Blackstone Rivers Ranch?

While this venue is open year-round, June-September is the best months to get married in Colorado. During these months, the mountains are warm during the day and can get very cold at night. You better believe you’ll be getting a lot of use out of the outdoor propane heaters that are included in wedding packages!

During the wedding season, Fridays and Saturdays are most popular. Weekdays are a cool option if you are staying in the area for a while and want to explore a bit. You’ll have less traffic and cheaper lodging in the surrounding areas.
