Pinecrest Weddings and Event Center

If you’re looking for a rustic Colorado Springs wedding venue, you should check out the Pinecrest Weddings and Event Center. Located at the base of Chautauqua Mountain, this venue is stunning. There are three main locations to hold your wedding that accommodate up to 225 guests. The Event Center is home to Colorado’s largest all-natural stone fireplace if you want that classic, rustic charm. It also houses the Groom’s Lounge. The Pinecrest Chapel is elegant and classic. It’s perfect for when the weather is iffy too. The Chapel is also home to the bridal suite with a changing room and spa-like bathroom.

The Outdoor Ceremony Location is at the base of the Chautauqua Mountain. This location is secluded and surrounded by wildlife and a creek. This venue offers two different packages: the All-Inclusive- Classic and the All-Inclusive Luxury. Each package is different and offers accommodations at extra costs based on your needs. Both include access to the Groom’s Lounge and Bridal Suite.

Glen Eyrie Castle

The Glen Eyrie Castle is a princess’ fairytale. Where the history of Colorado meets modern flair, each room in the castle is uniquely furnished and provides some stunning backdrops for photos. This stunning wedding venue rests on 723 acres in Queen’s Canyon.

It offers three ceremony locations: The Great Hall, Terrace, and the Lawn. The Great Hall features gorgeous oak paneling, a limestone fireplace, and the ability to hold up to 200 guests. Here, you will have the opportunity to wed indoors and outdoors, depending on how many guests you have. The reception spaces hold up to 225 guests. When you book your wedding with Garden of the Gods, you will be assigned a dedicated planning manager, a suggested vendor list, food and beverage packages, and group room block rates. amenities such as hiking, golf, tennis, fitness classes, and more. If you want an idea of pricing, you can set up a consultation with a representative to gather some extra information!

Pro-tip for this location – an evening wedding with the sunset provides jaw-dropping portraits in the meadow and with the trees in the background!

Hillside Gardens

The Hillside Gardens wedding and events venue has a pretty unique history. This location rests on a beautiful four acres of land with scenic mountains and is, what used to be, a dairy farm in the early 1900s. Because of its charm, couples began asking to host weddings at Hillside, and now the whole place has been turned into the wedding venue it is today.Just like its unique history, some unique qualities come with the place. One of these is a fountain full of bowling balls, which can provide fun photo opportunities. This location also comes with some pretty nice features. Rather than choosing from a pre-selected list of vendors, you’ll have the chance to choose your own for everything. That way, your day is everything you want it to be and more. The least expensive package for this wedding venue is a Friday/Sunday wedding from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., starting at about $2,000. Packages go up in price from there and depend on the day and the time of your wedding. The Broadmoor

The Broadmoor wedding venue offers a variety of stunning wedding venues and locations that are super picturesque. Choose from seven different places on the property. The West Tower Lawn is the largest and most lush of all of the outdoor ceremony sites. This location is surrounded by pine, maple, and cherry trees and is ideal for up to 500 guests. The Cheyenne Lodge offers a rustic feel to your day. While cozy, this location feels remote from the outside world. The Mountain View Terrace has beautiful canyon views and is mostly secluded. This wedding venue is ideal for 200 guests. The South Terrace is a classic location and is more of an intimate setting for up to 130 guests with dramatic views. Lastly, the Pauline Chapel showcases religious art pieces with stunning architecture and is great for religious ceremonies.

Intimate Colorado Springs Wedding Venues

Garden of the Gods

The Garden of the Gods is the perfect venue for those who want an intimate elopement or a small brief ceremony. There are six areas to hold your wedding at Garden of the Gods, but two are less scenic picnic areas. Jaycee Plaza holds up to fifty people and is located near the main parking area. This area also allows seats for the elderly or disabled and sits in the central area of the garden. Sentinel Plaza seats up to twenty-five people and features towering red rock formations. It is a bit more crowded than the others but so gorgeous.

Three Graces Plaza holds up to twenty-five guests and is more of a crowded tourist area. Finally, the High Point area seats up to fifty guests and features a beautiful view of the Garden and Pikes Peak. In this area, sunrise is the most incredible time for elopements. Pro-tip – the least amount of people come at sunrise or on a weekday, so I recommend this for any ceremony at Garden of the Gods!

Garden of the Gods is free of charge. No reservations for your special day are needed, and the venue operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Something to keep in mind about this venue is that you’ll need a permit for your wedding photographer to share photos taken anywhere at Garden of the Gods. It’s also important to note that there is only one bathroom in the main parking lot, so you may need to walk pretty far for the restroom depending on which location you choose to wed in. There is also a no-alcohol policy. So if you’re planning to pop a bottle of champagne after the ceremony, save it for when you leave the park.

Cloud Camp

If you maybe want a venue suited for elopements or smaller weddings, the Cloud Camp is a great choice. This wedding venue location is an all-inclusive mountaintop hideaway for you and your guests. Sitting 3,000 feet above the resort is the Broadmoor’s highest Wilderness Experience. This beautiful escape is perfect for those who want to spend more than just a day at the wedding venue. Cloud Camp is for the adventurous couples out there. Be as active or restful as you’d like during your wedding week. Ride a horse, play lawn games, sit in a hot tub, or enjoy the scenery around you. If you want to go against a typical reception, you can opt to be a part of so many other awesome activities, including:

  • Pickleball
  • Crafts
  • Archery
  • Disc Golf
  • Hot Tubs
