Mikayla was an absolute DREAM to work with, and we are so beyond thrilled with our wedding photos. My partner and I were initially attracted to Mikayla’s elopement photography because of the ways she captures couples within a landscape so beautifully. We wanted to exchange vows in private before our bigger wedding, and wanted to have Mikayla guide us and shoot that experience in addition to the wedding itself. We are SO happy we did, and were blown away that she could capture both experiences so well. For the vow exchange, Mikayla listened to our vision and presented us with multiple options for locations. She has a major talent for finding locations in the natural world that are perfect for photographing. She gave us amazing prompts that created stunning photos, and made the whole experience extremely comfortable and fun. As for the larger wedding, Mikayla and her second shooter were extremely professional and great energy to be around on a high pressure kind of day! Her photos captured the emotion of the day so well, as well as the venue, guests, details, and more. We are already dreaming about the next occasion that we can use Mikayla’s lovely talents for. 10/10 would recommend!
