WOWOW you guys, I’m super pumped to finally share this Garden of the Gods Anniversary Session with you! Okay, I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: Garden of the Gods is an awesome location for photos!
I’m a little biased because I live in Colorado Springs and Garden of the Gods is only a 20 minute drive from my house but it seriously has so much to offer! You get the gorgeous Red Rock AND an awesome view of Pikes Peak while being a short drive from downtown and a ton of breweries. Pascale reached out to me looking to surprise her honey, Sadie, with an anniversary session! P wanted to keep it around the Springs because they would be traveling up from Pueblo. I sent over a list of locations and OF COURSE she settled on Garden of the Gods! & I was suuuuper pumped about it!
When Pascale, Sadie, and Taylor showed up, IT WAS FREEZING! Like I mean really cold, we were all sniffling within 5 minutes of being outside lol. S + P loved on each other while Taylor explored close by and even joined them for a couple of moments. Our session together was during a rough time in my life and I can’t explain how much joy they brought to me during our short time together! I loooove love love this family! Would absolutely freeze my butt off for them again haha.
Garden of the Gods can get very packed. Which is totally not a surprise since it’s so beautiful and accessible! This specific location is literally a 5 second walk from the parking lot, so people often get out for a quick photo opt. When planning your engagement session, we should aim to avoid the busy hours. Early in the morning is ALWAYS a good option because people are just starting their day. I’ve also had a lot of success in this location around 4:30-5:30 pm!
Okay, enough of my talking. Enjoy!
That’s all friends! I hope you enjoyed this Garden of the Gods anniversary session! If you’re considering a Garden of the Gods photo session, look no further.
