Garden of the Gods is the perfect place for photos. I’m a little biased because I live in Colorado Springs but it seriously has so much to offer! Couples get the gorgeous Red Rock AND an awesome view of Pikes Peak while being a short drive from downtown and a ton of breweries. When Allison reached out wanting a Garden of the Gods engagement session, she knew that she wanted a breathtaking experience!
When I sent over the list of recommended locations within the park, one specific view always comes out on top. Which makes complete sense because couples are able to oversee the entire park. But A + S chose a different trail for their engagement session! Getting to this location was so incredibly easy and there was no one there early on a Saturday morning.
Garden of the Gods can get very packed. Which is totally not a surprise since it’s so beautiful and very accessible! When planning your engagement session, we should aim to avoid the busy hours. Early in the morning is ALWAYS a good option because people are just starting their day. Around sunset is also beautiful but it’s definitely not as quiet as sunrise. The good things is, there are tons scenic places to choose from if we show up to one location and it’s packed!
Allison + Sam shared their story on the brief walk from the parking lot to the location! They were visiting from Texas to attend a wedding and figured Garden of the Gods would be a great place to celebrate their recent engagement! The sun was high, the views were bomb, the colors were absolutely stunning, and they were successful avoiding the cacti lol. They had an awesome date and it’s evident from their photos.
