This Aspen elopement will forever make my heart happy. I’m sooooo pumped to finally get this romantic Maroon Bells elopement on my blog. Keep on scrolling to see two people get in married with a cutout of their puppy in one of the most popular places in Colorado. WHOOOO, let’s get to it!
Okay, so Kristen reached out because she and Max were another COVID couple and had to postpone their original celebration. Like many others, these two were NOT going to wait another year to officially be husband and wife. They planned a last minute trip to Colorado to hang with friends and elope at the Maroon Bells in Aspen before heading back to Ohio.
You guys know how crowded the Maroon Bells can get during the summer and fall months here. BUT! Kristen + Max had almost the whole place to themselves because of the current reservation system. Thanks COVID?? We had to wait out some rain but eventually made it to their ceremony spot and the sun popped out.
It was soooo peaceful the entire time. Below you’ll see K + M share THE SWEETEST vows, there were tears all around. Kristen surpised Max with a cardboard cuttout of their pup, Baloo, who didn’t get to join the celebration. The look on Max’s face was hilarious ha! They had their first dance to a song that was stuck in my head for weeks and held each other while the birds chirped and the sun got lower.
We popped some champagne, talked about life, and explored some bit before finally parting ways so they could go celebrate in Aspen. It was an awesome night and I’ll remember it forever. Mainly because Kristen + Max are the best but also because I saw a bear on my way out hah.
Anyways, enough of me blabbing, check out this romantic Maroon Bells Elopement!
