Crested Butte Wedding at Mountain Wedding Garden

Mountain Garden Wedding Venue in Crested Butte is one of the most beautiful venues in Colorado, in arguably the most beautiful (& fun) part of the state. Both the Mountain Wedding Garden ceremony space and pavilion can be rented out. When the venue is accessible (June 15-October 2 of each year), pricing starts at $1350 for weekends and is just $900 to book both on a weekday. A $500 clean up/damage refundable deposit is added to that price. Reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis with a 50% non-refundable retainer for the space.

My Couple & Why They Chose to Get Married at Mountain Wedding Garden

Ashley & Dalton met while working at Ruby Tuesday’s in college. They became good friends, started dating, eventually moved to Colorado together, and the rest is history. After moving to Colorado, they quickly found out that Crested Butte is one of the coolest towns in the state. A + D are outdoorsy and get after it whenever they can and Crested Butte became near and dear to their hearts, so it made a ton of sense to get married there. A + D are both Florida natives and had many guests come from out of state and really wanted to show off all that Colorado has to offer. Mountain Wedding Garden was the perfect option for them because the ceremony space is absolutely gorgeous, affordable, and easily accessible. Their guests had such a great time soaking in the views and exploring such a unique mountain town.

Dalton got ready with his guys at a beautiful lodge in Mt. Crested Butte that packed up to an aspen grove and Ashely got ready with her ladies at a cute little A-Frame down the road. We had threats of rain all day long and it sprinkled for a little bit during their wedding ceremony before clearing out. After the ceremony, we took lots of family photos, then explored a little, and the found the perfect spot for couples portraits. The mountainside covered in wildflowers (mid-July was popping in 2021) and the lighting was amazing. After that, we drove down to Crested Butte to their wedding reception at Bonez. We finished off the night with a lot of fun and celebration!

Tips About Mountain Wedding Garden:

+ Snodgrass Mountain is right behind the venue and is covered in wildflowers during the summer months (mid-July through August) and golden aspen during the fall (mid-September-end of September). It’s the perfect place to explore if you want to add some variety to couples portraits

+ Mt. Crested Butte and Crested Butte are two different towns, 3 miles away from each other. Mountain Wedding Garden is in Mt. Crested Butte so keep this in mind when searching for AirBnbs and lodging.

+ The pavilion can be rented out for the reception after the ceremony or a rehearsal dinner the night before. There are amazing local caterers and food trucks to bring delicious food and drinks.
