Colorful Silverton Hiking Elopement (August Colors to Reference)

S & J have always loved the San Juan Mountains in Colorado and drove all the way from San Diego with their families for their Silverton Hiking Elopement! We met at the trailhead at 5 am for an intimate ceremony in front of a gorgeous blue high alpine lake. Their elopement was in August so the colors were truly unreal! We had the trail to outselves other than the couple of other hikers we saw at the lake. Later, we met up with their peeps in Ouray on a trail that was accessible for everyone. We got rained on but it didn’t put a damper on their fun!
