Okay, I feel like by now you guys know that I looooove Garden of the Gods. It so accessible and the colors are out of this world! This early morning Garden of the Gods bridal session was one I’ll always remember! The weather was perfect (once the sun showed up hah) and Alexa looked sososo beautiful!
Alexa’s dress was from Revolve and was literally so gorgeous! She got so many compliments and there’s no surprise why. Her dress had so much texture that made it an absolute dreeeeam to photograph! Also, her hat is from Gigi Pip and it was the perfect touch! Okay, enough of my blabbing! Keep scrolling to get to the goods!
Garden of the Gods can get very packed. Which is totally not a surprise since it’s so beautiful and very accessible! When planning your engagement session, we should aim to avoid the busy hours. Early in the morning is ALWAYS a good option because people are just starting their day. Around sunset is also beautiful but it’s definitely not as quiet as sunrise. The good things is, there are tons scenic places to choose from if we show up to one location and it’s packed!
If you are interested in getting the vivid colors of the red rock, morning is definitely best! The sun will rise from the east and shine directly on Garden of the Gods Park! The blue sky will look amazing and you’ll get the best color out of the red rocks! This totally depends on the weather because if it’s super cloudy, the colors won’t be as bright. Still amazing though. So that’s definitely something to consider when envisioning your photos!
Okay, you guys! I hope you enjoyed that bridal session at Garden of the Gods! If you’re looking to capture some Colorado bridals, let me know! I’d love to help you plan 🙂 xx Mikayla
