I’m not a vendor, I’m a “friendor”

By the time your wedding day rolls around, I’m deeply invested in you two. This is the best day of your lives, and I’m freaking pumped to follow you around and document your day. I cry with you, I celebrate you, I won’t let you down.

You don’t need to be anyone else but you.

Being in front of a camera is hard. Especially when various levels of PDA are on the agenda. I know the feeling! I just want you to be yourselves. You two know how to love each other best. Whether your relationship revolves around soft back rubs, toooooons of jokes, or a mixture of both, I want to document the truth. I’ll always tell you what to do with your hands and direct you in a way that honestly reflects your relationship.

The mountains have called”.

If you’re eloping or getting married in Colorado, it’s probably because the mountains have called. I draw inspiration from Colorado’s landscape and photograph the scenery in a way that does it justice. Whether that’s in the form of waterfalls, mountain vistas, wild flowers, or high alpine lakes.

“Mikayla was by far our favorite vendor to work with — she made us feel SO comfortable being ourselves and showed genuine care about our relationship and wedding. If you want a photographer who’ll be supportive and understanding but also decisive, I can’t recommend her enough. And the pictures are amazing, of course. She’s GREAT.” –Emma + EP
